Victron Energy Inverter MultiPlus Compact 12/1600/70-16, 1300W, 12V

The Victron Multiplus Compact 12/1600/70 is a device combination of a 1300W sine wave inverter and battery charger. The intelligent on-board charger delivers an impressive 70A, allowing the battery to be charged very quickly provided shore/mains power is available. The sine voltage converter integrated in the Multiplus converts the 12 V DC from the battery into 230 V AC. Due to the real sine wave, the voltage quality is also ideal for sensitive electronic devices.

Versatile applications

The MultiPlus is a powerful pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger with adaptive charging technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a compact body. There are models for each module ranging from 800VA to 5000VA.

Unique PowerAssist feature

The MultiPlus protects against overloading when AC power is limited. First, the battery charging process is automatically reduced to avoid overloading. Next, the power of the generator or shore power source is boosted by the energy provided by the battery.

Uninterruptible AC power supply (UPS function)

In the event of a power failure or an interruption to the shore power or the on-board generators, the Multi's inverter switches on automatically and takes over the power supply for the connected consumer. The switching happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices can continue to work without interruption.

Almost unlimited power through parallel connection

Up to six multis can be connected in parallel for high power requirements. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. Refer to our data sheet for models available for parallel, three-phase, and split-phase operation.

On-site monitoring

Several options are available: Battery Guard, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, Smartphone or Tablet (Bluetooth Smart), Laptop or Computer (USB or RS232).

Remote monitoring

When systems with color control panels are connected to the ethernet, they can be accessed remotely and settings can be changed.
